In 2024, Blueprint umbrella factory successfully achieved another significant milestone by obtaining the SMETA 4P social responsibility certification. SMETA 4P, a rigorous audit framework under the Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) Members Ethical Trade Audit, evaluates factories across four key areas: labor standards, health and safety, environmental management, and business ethics. This certification covers various critical aspects such as recruitment, employment, wages, working hours, workplace conditions, equipment safety, waste disposal, and business integrity.
